What is the meaning of trust?

To trust is to rely on or depend on someone or something.

Therefore, to trust God is to rely on or depend on Him for everything. To trust God is to fully follow or obey Him. To trust God is to give Him control over everything. God wants us to trust Him, that is, to rely on or depend on Him for everything and not to lean on ourselves.

To trust God also means surrendering control of your life to Him.

What do we trust God for?

1. We trust God for help in our time of need.
2. We trust God for strength.
3. We trust God to heal us when sick.
4. We trust God to protect us.
5. We trust God to provide for us.
6. We trust God to deliver us from evil.
7. We trust God to deliver us from falling into temptations.
8. We trust God with our lives (we do this by surrendering our lives to Him).

10. We trust God to answer our prayers and grant us our hearts' desires.
11. We trust God for success.
12. We trust God to guide us.
13. We trust God for everything.

How do we trust God?

We trust God when we pray to Him, when we obey Him, when we depend on Him, and when we rely on Him.

Why do we need to trust God?

We need to trust God because God loves us. He gives us strength, fights our battles for us, defends us, knows our future, helps us in our time of need, blesses us, gives us wisdom, etc.

Therefore, we need to trust God so that His will and plan for us will happen in our lives.
